The Challenge

Novenco Marine & Offshore required custom-made transition pieces that could connect the ventilation installations correctly while meeting strict requirements for fit, tolerances and weight.

The starting point was a sketch that had to be developed into a workable solution. A key requirement was that the transition pieces fit precisely with the ship’s fans. At the same time, the weight had to be kept low enough for installation directly on board.

Our Approach

Based on the customer’s sketch, the necessary drawings for the production of the transition pieces were developed.

The production involved both rolling and welding, with a strong focus on precise adjustments and a uniform finish. Throughout the process, we maintained close dialogue with the customer to ensure that all technical details and requirements were met and that the solution could be integrated into the installations on board.

The Result

The finished transition pieces were produced with precise welds, accurate fittings and a consistent finish, ensuring that they fit the installations and meet the technical requirements of the project.

We handled the entire task from drawing to finished product, delivering a complete solution ready for installation on the ships.
