Irish Life HQ
As part of a major renovation of Irish Life’s headquarters on Lower Abbey Street in Dublin—known as the Irish Life Centre—we were contacted by Alucraft to deliver a specialised solution. The project involved a complete refurbishment of the building’s façade, including the addition of new floors and a 10-storey atrium, where precision and aesthetics were critical.

The project
The Challenge
Alucraft needed rolled aluminium profiles for the curved corners of the building—an assignment many suppliers deemed too complex. The curved elements had to integrate seamlessly into the new façade and meet strict requirements for both form and function.
Our Approach
We approached the task with our usual mindset: Everything is possible—you just need to figure out how. In close collaboration with Alucraft, we developed a new method for rolling the extruded aluminium profiles. Using custom tools and an innovative filling technique, we were able to minimise deformation and ensure that the profiles retained their shape and visual appeal.
The Result
Our solution enabled Alucraft to achieve the desired design, with precise and uniform curved corners that integrated perfectly into the building’s new façade. This approach not only solved a specific challenge, but also opened up new possibilities for rolling extruded aluminium in the construction industry.
Hear It from the Customer Themselves
“We had the pleasure of working with Kristian and Asger last year. The guys really went above and beyond to help us deliver a very challenging project, curving bespoke feature fins to be installed onto a unitised glazed façade. All the staff at Bendtech were helpful and responsive during the project with regular update calls throughout. The final product looks great and is a credit to their perseverance and determination”
