Steel Structures
Bending Technology was established in 1945, and for many years, the company’s primary focus was steel structures. As a result, we have extensive expertise in the construction of steel frameworks and can offer both consultancy and execution of projects—large and small.
We consider ourselves specialists in building structures that incorporate rolled components. We are fully equipped to handle large-scale constructions. If desired, we can deliver complete turnkey solutions that include rolling, structural assembly, machining, and of course, quality control.
Welding According to EN1090 – EXC 4
We are certified to weld according to the highest execution class under EN1090. This means we can ensure and document the quality of our welds—even for the most demanding tasks. Execution Class 4 allows us to supply welded components for load-bearing structures, such as those used in high-rise buildings.
A Quality End Product
Whether it’s steel beams, railings, profiles for carports, or any other type of steel structure, we’re here to help. With our many years of experience, we can assist throughout every stage of the process, ensuring you receive the best possible end product. Over time, we’ve handled everything from simple to highly complex steel structure projects for a wide range of customers. We make sure to tailor a solution that fits your specific needs.
Sheet Metal Processing and Press Braking
We also offer sheet metal processing. We cut to precise measurements and bend according to your specifications. We often cut and bend profiles ourselves—for example, a U-profile—which is then passed on to our rolling department for further processing.
Additionally, we can provide precise pre-bending of sheets prior to rolling using one of our in-house specialties: step bending.
We cut up to 10 mm thickness at 3000 mm width. The press brake also handles up to 3000 mm with a capacity of 150 tons.
Certified Welding
For many years, it has been our philosophy to offer customers more than just rolling—we aim to deliver more complete solutions. That’s why we have certified welders for all types of steel and metals.
We typically weld:
- Stainless steel
- Mild (carbon) steel
- Aluminium
Our welders are also certified for pressure-bearing systems:
- PED-approved
We receive regular visits from welding inspectors to ensure our standards remain high. In many cases, we meet requirements for 100% X-ray inspection. This allows us to longitudinally weld profiles before rolling, enabling us to roll very long lengths. We also frequently weld flanges and similar components and, of course, have the capability to weld brackets or carry out more complex fabrication work.
Customised Solutions
We specialise in customised solutions built on technical expertise and advanced special rolling. With our extensive machine park and in-house developed rolling process, we create high-quality solutions that match your unique needs and ambitions.
